man, are they still running that comic

nothing against those pushing pens in the 50's/60's/70's/80's but there's a reason newspapers died as an industry and unfunny funny pages are at the top of that list

also I'm just not a fan of that comic

Yeah...legacy comics.

Apparently, the late Mort Walker (who started that comic back in 1950) was a cool guy who helped out a lot of young cartoonists, but Beetle probably should have been retired when Mort died a few years back, if not sooner. It's a bit cringey.
